Hi folks,

Just saying hello really. I'm Ian, originally from the North East but now living near Stroud, Gloucestershire. Stationary engines are a sort of a peripheral thing for me. I've dabbled a bit as a side effect of my passion for vintage tractors and trucks.

My main reason for joining is that I'm having a clear out so I have a few bits to sell. So far the only thing I've liberated from the Garage Of Chaos(tm) is a Godwin OHO pump but I know there are a couple of Villiers engines in there somewhere along with an old lawnmower engine. I think there is another pump and a box of stuff that may or may not be related to it, plus a bunch of random spares I've accumulated over the years. I'll stick a few things in the "For Sale" section when the forum lets me post pics.

High Ian. Shame you aren't going top be more active in the engine game but you are welcome to dispose of your unwanted items.

Thanks. I'm not entirely inactive. Companies like L&S have had more than a few quid out of me over the years. But I do need to clear out some stuff because I have more projects than I will ever get around to and some repaired engines that I have no use for. But, despite that, I'd still buy another broken engine tomorrow if it was interesting and well-priced!

Yeah, I know it makes no sense. That's why I have no space in my garage... Laughing
