A pump set came home with me today.

Its a Simplite MK4 sludge / ditch pump set with it's Villiers C12 (C12 - 10 - 12) engine.

The engine turns over with compression. The only thing I can see missing (I think) is the mesh grille surrounding the rope-start pulley.

Does anyone know anything about these sets or can give any tips or advice please, and does anyone have an instruction / parts manual.

I had one a few years ago, but without the nice top cover, it had a Villiers Mk.12/1 engine.
