Hi, Everyone, great to be allowed to join you all!. Just acquired a Tiny Tim, tank battery charging unit. It’s been stored for 30 years south London.
Serviced it, wanted one for some time. Just got the petrol engine running via the start button, no charge so far, would really appreciate some
Knowledge with some unknowns.for instance, there is no wire connection underneath the neg terminal near the amp meter.does this just earth through the casing by serrated washer, also any help on no output problem.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards to everyone.

Hi, Everyone, just trying to teach myself the way to load photos. Hope this is the right place to discuss a New Project ? If not,Let me know which section I should use.
I bought the Tiny Tim from the vintage generator section on eBay. I wanted a new project after selling a 2CV bench engine I built.
The seller said that he had owned it for 30 years and had not tried to start it. I serviced it , removed gen from engine, changed a carbon brush, rebuilt it and got it running on the button.
The the problems then started to show.
Regards,
Peter76.
