Hi,
Would like to get some information on a Wolseley Alma. I'm after the manufacture date for serial No 530 and yes, I have seen the casting date on the cylinder flange of some Almas in photos but my unit has no date cast into it. The governor forks and rod is missing so if possible, a photo of the governor assembles would be appreciated.

Regards,
Cockie

No 581 has the date stamp for July 1922, so yours would be a little prior to this.

There is some additional info in David Edgington's book on Wolseley engines.

Thanks for the replies much appreciated. I have been working toward a centaury old engine and now I have one. Two 1927s A Stover rebadged as a Cooper and an International M 1.5hp in my collection, then to a 1933 Lister Junior 3hp.
Will try to get the Wolseley Book, it will go with my Lister book by David.
Thanks again,
Cockie
