Re: petter a1 carb issue
Ya a manual would be cool, the c1048 was on the fuel inlet, maybe its time for a carb kit, carb was ultra sonicly cleaned home made gasket between bodies, youd think that the spot for the jet would be plugged if not used, but unfamiliar with carb and A1

C1048 seems to be a very unusual variant of the Zenith 24T-2 carburettor.

If you do need some bits you could try L&S.

Re: petter a1 carb issue
Wondering if anyone has same reference # as my carb,C1048,thanks to all who replied hope fully others will chime in,maybe zenith would have info on c1048 info, also wondering if hole where compromising jet would go if it should be plugged, contacted Zenith we'll see what haps.Well i guess i answered my own question as i found a topic that is specific to my carb which states no third jet, again thanks to all!guess ill have to get a kit and do some checkn on engine while i wait to get/order kit, found out a few things as i use my ph for browsing, sometimes a pain

Re: petter a1 carb issue
Well gotter runnin or at least it stays runnin, traced it down to the plug which i had to order from across the pind as nothing would cross over state side, fir some reason or other either wrong plug was installed and i crossed ut over to a resistor plug which will nit work on an older engine that didnt come from factory with resistir plug.I read tyat if you install a resistor plyg on an engine that didnt come with 1 spark will not be as intense and it will retard ign timing, but for now it runs, ill gave to tweek carb a bit more as it runs too fast and theottle is closed all the way.Govennor is as loose as can be,i think that the gov button that pops out is a bit worn and ill put a piece if metal between gov button and arm and see uf that will idle it down a bit and play round with carb adjustments
