If we are opening the Boys Book of Pedantry, isn't a Lister B also a Junior?

Yes I believe it is EDIT wrong!

Not £40 Matt, I thought there might be postage but its £32 and I'd be mad if that leaked too.

Several years ago I was given several lister D and A type pressings, outers, inners, back plate etc if that's what they are fetching I'd better weld mine together and make some money Smile

I've just gone through the Bible of A and B's by David Edgington and he makes no mention of the word Junior, there are photo's in the book of them both wearing the Junior transfers but that's what's available, this question is yes, no and maybe.

I was thrown by the seller quoting Lister Junior A/B but I now know the B is 1.5" BSP whilst the Junior/A is 1.25"

I do the SEM index, and have always indexed them as Lister A or Lister B, never Lister Junior. It's a bit of a misleading term in reality, but may have been used to differentiate the A and B engines from the Lister J-R range.

The carb is now coated with linseed oil to keep it bare without rust.
I'll be showing this at Kirkstall Valley Farm this Sunday along with a Petter A11

I decided on a new petrol tap as alluded to earlier and went for the NON budget version that has no taper for the solder olive.
The tap is also more like the original unlike the cheap option.
If I ever sell the engine I'll refit the old one.
I've not fitted this yet.
