Hi everyone, I have recently acquired a Stuart Turner P5M engine which I intend to restore and get running, the engine is missing its Magneto and coupling, can anyone advise me on what Magneto and coupling I require, the serial number of the engine is 18844, not sure how old this makes it, any help would be much appreciated
Regards Graham

Hi Graham and a warm welcome to the forum.

I think the magneto is a WIPAC CJ1718D, but no doubt "StuartTurnerSteve" will be along shortly to correct me. Wink

16000-19999 = May 1936 - Sep 1954.

Magneto wise, towards the end of production either a Lucas RS or SR1 with an impulse coupling. Give Stuart Turner Bits and Pieces a shout.
