Introduction

New member from Leeds up north.
My hobby interests are building RC model boats.
Having recently visited Pershore an exhibition there sparked my interest in engines and so it begins

I think I've bought my first engine but until its in my hands I'll not do a reveal.

How old is regarded as vintage these days?

I've ordered a manual from eBay £4.50 will your PDF be different?

I've bought the Petter from eBay. It looks like it was manufactured recently but its about 1951 I think.
I have to drive 200 miles round trip on Saturday but it only cost me £122 to buy.
