Engines galore!
I explained all in my intro post now here is what I know re the engines.
1.5HP twin flywheel petter, seems to be complete, all pipework, magnito in place.
2off Lister "D" engines in bits
Petter 1A appears to be complete
What I think is a Lister "A" in bits
What I think is a Lister "L" type just the flywheels removed .... I think
Coventry climax side valve Godiva pump engine, short block and head but I think I have found all the bolt on bits like manifolds and fuel pump, mag/distributer is still attached.
I have found a lot of tin work, water tank, fuel tank for the pump.
The rest of the engines, no idea what they are.
Located in the Dorking area.

Re: Engines galore!
The green air-cooled engine right at the back of the garage is a Coborn engine made by Browett & Lindley. The two Lister engines with twin flywheels are A types (not L type which are much bigger).

Re: Engines galore!
The engine with Petter written accross the water hopper , standing next to the Coborn, is probably the nicest and most valuable of the engines you have and also looks reasonably complete with original oiler and magneto etc.
They are often referred to as Rugby top Petters and sometimes as Little Pet models.

Re: Engines galore!
Thanks for the info on the petter, I will probably dust it off and put it on ebay, see what happens.

Agree, these make reasonable sums, but it is not the original oiler (which should be a wine glass one) and its not a Little Pet (which were among the very first ones made and have Little Pet cast into the hopper).
