Spark Plug alternative
Hi all, this Maytag 72 I have at the moment is running with NGK B-4H spark plugs, on looking at a Maytag parts supplier in USA they show Autolite spark plugs as the recommended plug but I cannot see any letters/numbers on their photos of the plugs other than the word Autolite, anyone have an idea if or what number/letters I should be searching for to see if this plug can be purchased here, being miserly do not want to pay import costs if they can be found over this side of the pond.
Or what do you use in your Maytag Twin.

Re: Spark Plug alternative
Paul, nope they are for a model 92 that is a single cylinder, mine is a model 72 twin cylinder, of course they might be suitable for both models even though it is not said in the wording, but thanks for the help

Re: Spark Plug alternative
Surely any plug close to the original will do as the engine is unlikely to reach peak performance on the rally field and it certainly wont get up to temperature sat in a field.

Re: Spark Plug alternative
I suppose what you say is correct, but when you do not know what the original plug make/number or definition was then how do you find a comparison, question has been asked on a USA site as well am awaiting an answer
