Wolseley going today after 35 years+ sleep
Hello Fellows,
Got the Wolseley WD going today after a wee bit of work.
The sump oil had turned into really thick sludge which needed scooping out yuk, the throttle butterfly was stuck solid, the petrol tap was like a colander, the exhaust valve was lightly stuck and the mag points needed attention.
This engine was used by my father to donkey start a JP2 via a flat belt and manually operated jockey belt tensioner pulley. The Lister JP2 drove a DC welding dynamo. The JP went off a couple of years ago to a new home to be used in a canal long boat.
