Hi, I'm Dave from Lincolnshire and I've recently acquired a Villiers Mk15 engine which is currently in a sorry state - I hope I can bring it back to life again.
I have already found the posts on this forum very useful so thought I should join up. I guess I'll be seeking advice from the 'old hands' as I go along.

Hello and welcome! welcome sign

My first engine project was a MK15, see my avatar. (Mind you, I've not progressed very far since then...)

Hopefully we will be able answer any questions you have.

Hi Dave, and a warm welcome the the forum.

Please start a new thread in New Projects/Restorations and post a couple of pictures when you get going. I've had a few Villiers in my time and enjoy working them. Reasonably easy to get going without serious machine shop skills and equipment.

If you want to see how high the MK 15 bar has been set have a look at Steef's project:

Good luck.
