hi these are two briggs and stratton twins i made around 15 years ago great fun to hear running and reliable
red one is the 1st one i did using tecumseh carbs
grey one is  a honda  motorcycle carb both will run happily under load at around 5000 rpm and still run now
i had a lot of fun doing these  and have since made a tecumseh tripple
regards john

Nice to see you back John.
I've always fancied marrying two Villiers as a vee or boxer but my engineering skills are almost nil in the machine shop. Crying or Very sad

They look good.
How are the cranks phased on the twins; is it:- both pistons at tdc, at the same time, or, one at tdc whilst the other is at bdc?

they are both parallel i did one at 180 and had to go twin carb to get a stable idle on both cyls
with single carb it always had one weak cyl at idle due to valve overlap robbing manifold vacume
