Hi All ,

Just to introduce myself .I'm Mike and I have just purchased a lister d engine although not picking up till end of November.

Going to need a lot of advice i fear as a newby .

Anybody have a good recommendation for any power tools needed to help with restoration?

I have many old imperial spanners left to me by late father so hopefully these will some use .

Any advice much appreciated 🙏 Thumbs Up 👌 😊

Mike

Hi Mike, welcome aboard.

I've found an angle grinder with knotted wire cup brush and Abracs stripper discs good for paint removal.

Hi Mike and a very warm welcome to the forum. Plenty of Lister D advice / expertise here. Please post a few pics in 'New Projects / Restorations when you are able.
Good luck with your first project - newbie questions are welcome. We all have to start somewhere. 😊
