Lister D parts wanted

Hi folks, I feel a bit cheeky as I joined a wee while ago and have posted virtually nowt. I bought three Lister D engines in various condition and with parts missing. The aforementioned parts were to become available however this hasn’t transpired. So what am i looking for, well almost everything, fuel tanks, exhausts, carburettors, float chambers and starting handles that i know about. Now folk have said to me that Lister D’s are like belly buttons, we will see. Obviously anything available will need posted, let me know what you have. Sorry for the long winded post. Norman

Lister D's are very common but for instance I have loads of Lister D spares but not the list that you need, of the three engines are any complete as you may end up removing parts from one to keep the other two going.

Hi, Thanks for the reply, none of the engines are complete. It was my intention to get one working and sell the other two to recoup some money. I was told the missing parts we’re available but this has fallen through. I must admit if i had known this would be the case I wouldn’t have bought them. Norman

I have 1 fuel tank, also an exhaust manifold, I might have a carb would need to check. No handle and I don't think I have a float chamber.

Stationary Engine Parts Ltd  have most of the bits you are looking for.
Tanks and straps often available on fleabay.
