Gamage dynamo brushes

The brushes on my Gamage 12volt dynamo are made of copper mesh. Does anyone out there know where I can source replacements please?

How complicated are they? Plenty of copper mesh available on fleabay / Amazon.

Not at all complicated but I was hoping to get hold of the pukka stuff rather than any old copper mesh. It seemed a good idea to ask on here before trying something that isn’t original. I’ll post a photo tomorrow, I’m too clean to go poking in the back of my garden shed!

I’d forgotten that you can’t easily download photos. Suffice to say that the mesh is obviously not the original stuff and it was probably fitted by my brother, from whom I inherited the rig. I think I’ve found something on Ebay to reproduce it. Thanks for your interest.

You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).’
