Well managed to get a reasonable priced Lister D type shaft drive...

Bought as a non runner and 2 mins clean of the points once home(it was 9pm so only a 2 min run so far)It ran loverly..
Post better pics up once its daylight..
plan is to find a proper water top as currently a rad/tank top fitted and a clean and repaint..
think it dates to late 1930

just got to think about colour now do I stay mid brunswick green or dark blue or dark cherry red...oh and fixed a leaky fuel tank..

Good find Jay you must be very happy with it. Am I right in thinking that the early D's were a different shade of green and not Mid Brunswick.

Had been on ebay twice and hadnt sold as well.(was on for £120)..was thinking about buying it but cheffins sale was on when it was listed first time so didnt buy this one at first then when it didnt sell second time I thought its worth the drive up to go see it)
