Re: stuart turner marine engines.plus others.
Im waiting to hear on the scott, its on a trolley etc at the mo,
The R2 is the same size as the R3 just small bore, if you want smaller you want to look for a Stuart Type N, sold mine for £150.
A Stuart Lightweight go for a bomb but are the smallest they made.
Cheers Steve

I could carry mine easy even on that base, needs a base for holding the magneto on, marine version is shaft drive, Il see if I can dig a photo out. Buy a runner though as they can be a pain, a wanted in SEM should help.

Type N
Introduced as new entry level engine 1/2hp @ 1300RPM, thought to be introduced 1932 though an N1 features in the 1930 catalogue, so there is a little conservers to when this engine was introduced.
HP- 1/2hp
RPM - 1300RPM
Magnetos used – BTH
Carburettors used – Stuart Turner
N1 – Ungoverned generator set engine throttle controlled via turning the air cap, slim flywheel
N2 – Governed generator set, throttle adjusted via slide as per later ST carbs, slim flywheel
N3 – marine version, fitted with a shaft drive magneto, diaphragm water pump and a fatter flywheel to the N1 or 2.
N4 - Governed generator set, throttle adjusted via slide as per later ST carbs, slim flywheel, fitted with a diaphragm water pump.

For a Scott SE (water Cooeld) or PAB (air cooled)?
An SE your looking at £200-£300, I paid £50 for mine but needed a magneto which cost me £200 for the right one, could have had another cheaper but wanted it right!
Stuart N, I paid £125 for mine, then added palleting on top, £100 - £200 for a N type.
Il see what I can do, what engines do you want in it?
