New Member: Hello from the East Coast
Hi, I am Keith. I am no expert on stationary engines but have come here for advise. My Father-in-law (Who has sadly passed away) has left a barn fully of stationary engines and we would like some advise as to what they are, if they are worth anything? and possibly sell them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Keith, welcome aboard and sorry for your loss.
Stationary engines are always worth something to some one.
If possible get clear photos of each engine, with a couple of different views and include any manufacturers names, data plates etc. as this can help identify and roughly date them which can have a bearing on their value.
I don't think you can post photo's for a few days (forum host rules) but you can post makes, types etc.

Hello Keith and welcome to the forum and also sorry for your loss.
As Stuart says it will be a few days before you can post pictures/links.
Suggest you have a careful read of: https://ukengineforum.forumotion.com/t9665-how-to-upload-images
'East Coast' gives a wide margin - care to reveal what county?

Thanks guys, I am in Norfolk. I'll try an upload some photos in a few days time. I have taken a few, although the barn where they are is quite dimly lit. We just don't know what to do with them? Identifying them would be a great start.

Ah, Norfolk is a bit of a trek for me but I'll be interested to see what you have. I hope you'll will consider retaining a couple.

I guess it all depends on what I have? Yeah we are way out for a lot of people! as for retaining some of them - Probably not as I don't have the space!
