colwood motor hoe drive chain help
hi i have the colwood motor hoe model a and i need to get the drive chain that goes on the small gearbox cog to the bottom cog . i have the 2 other chains but unsure how to workout what chain is neededfor this i was told an old bike chain would do but dont know how many links or size thickness ect . theres lots of chain on ebay but dont know sizes and there talking about pitch size and so on . any info would be greatly appreciated as id like to put it together this weekend and try it thanks

Cheers il have a look but I just bought another one today that I'm picking up Saturday and I think its got all its chains so il try match it up from that hopefully

Take one of the sprockets to you/r local bearing man and they/l fix you up in no time I don/t think it will be metric you can measure the length with a tape to get close
