Original Petter Service sign

Ive had this sign for as long as I've been on this planet. it's a double sided sign of cast aluminium construction.
Some day I'll get round to give it a paint-up in the correct colours. I was wondering though has anyone seen another the same?

Dont paint it, its value will drop like a stone just protect it so it doesn't get worse.

Hi Maryalice It used to be in great condition but I'm afraid it was neglected, not too concerned with its value as it's a nice sign when it in its paintwork is good. It wasn't enamelled only ever painted.  I've attached a couple of photos here of two enamel signs I have they have also been on the planet at home here longer than me.    

Very nice but the ame applies, preserve them but do not paint them, you may not worry about their value but one day you will.

I certainly wont touch the enamel signs other than give them a well deserved clean, however the cast alloy Petter sign is most definitely going under the brush

That's an extremely nice Petter sign!!! I agree it would look really good repainted and fixed to the wall.

I remember it when it had it's full bright coats of paint and it did look good right enough that's the reason I'm determined to do-it-up to look good again. I'll get it screwed onto the man cave wall when done.
