Nice find, looks like it's part of the 'lightweight' range. Should have an oil bath air filter looking at those clips. Try Meetens for info/parts.

Not heard of the D15 before, but I'd take a punt at mid 1980's for this one.
Cross head screws evident, and plastic tank cap point to a late date.

I was wondering if it was a BSA design? as I'd heard the F15 was.
As it's mostly ally I can see fun getting ths steel screws out thanks to many years of Jap bikes ownership

Thanks to one of the FB groups I've found out it's a 515H which started production in the mid 60's.

515H is indeed mid 1960's, but it does look later....
Did the FB group explain why the 515H is labelled D15 then ??? Seems a strange thing to do....
