I am confused! I am reassembling my lister D Matblack advised me that the cam lobe should be vertical at TDC there are two vertical positions one where the cam lobe ( Peak ) points down both valves fully closed and one where the rounded area of the cam not the peak points down also both valves are closed?? Before I get it badly wrong can someone clarify. Much appreciated.

The peak of the cam should be vertical (12 o clock) and the rectangular cut out in the trailing shaft should be vertical as well.

Pete.
