Villiers electronic ignition
Does anyone have any experience with this electronic conversion? http://www.villiersparts.co.uk/ignition.html
I'm interested in one for the C12 engine on my Warsop pump as it looks like the coil is shot. (Zero resistance across the LT windings so I assume a dead short?)

Re: Villiers electronic ignition
They look very much like the Suffolk colt electronic coil never fitted one on a Villiers but cant see why it wont work Timing may be a bit of an arse due to no points or flywheel key

Are you sure about dead short? LT side is only a couple of ohms so you need a decent meter. It's normally the HT side that fails (open circuit)
