Petter A1 oil change

Hi all. What is the best oil to use in a petter A1. What is the service procedure? Just bought the engine so I think I should at least change the oil.

SAE30 or thereabouts, undo the square head drain bung and let it drain out, you can take the side cover off under the petrol tank and wash the sump out if you want to then fill it up.

Cheapest place for SAE 30 I've found so far is Screwfix.
