Hi. I'm Ted Edwards, currently secretary of the Wessex Stationary Engine Club. I'm very new to this hobby compared to most, having spent most of my life concerned with motorcycle sport of one kind or another.
My little group consists of a Wolseley W8, Fairbanks Morse 1-1/2 hp headless, Bernard W1, W2 genset, W2, P3 and an incomplete Japy TY2

Hi Ted and welcome to the forum.

That 'little group' doesn't seem to tally with 'I'm very new to this hobby ' ? Wink

Post a few pics when you can. Any project in hand?

Thank you  gentlemen. Everything is relative, and I haven't been actively involved until very recently. I have collected engines that appealed to me, and have just finished giving "Little Bernard" (the W1) a new "brouette" and "big Bernard" (the P3) a much needed spruce up. Next time they go out I'll get some pictures. Meanwhile the next job on the list is the W2 genset, otherwise known as "the horror". More of that later...
