Hello everyone. Greetings from Herefordshire.
I recently acquired a Villiers Mk10 at a local auction in December 2016, which I plan to restore (I'll post some pictures in the relevant Section).
I enjoy bringing old stuff back to life.... I've run classic cars in the past but my other main project is building a Pembleton Super Sports 3-wheeler (based on Citroen 2CV components).
I also build radio control model boats (from plans and kits) and have several other things on the go, including restoring (a) a 1950's Ransomes 'Conquest' push mower and (b) an old single-cylinder air/compressor pump (that could be driven by the Villiers) that I picked up at the same local auction house.
I can usually be found scouting about at Herefordshire Vintage Auctions and Pugh's vintage motorbike/tractor/agriculture auctions - in Ledbury.
I've always wanted a stationary engine but thought I'd start with something small, hence the Villiers Mk10.

Hi Dougal (real name?)
Welcome to a great forum. My first restoration was also a Villiers. I also used to tinker with old classics like MG Midgets and such in my youth.
Plenty of sound advice to be found here.
BTW - if you need a manual PM me and I happily send you a PDF.
