Re: Bunsen Burner
Hi Villiers, I had seen the burners at Screwfix already these are the ones i use for soldering and are bent i wanted one that stands vertical and screws to a small gas canister, i have seen some like these which stand independantly and are connected to larger bottle by a pipe i may have to use one of these,Thanks for that. Best Regards Chiefy.

Re: Bunsen Burner
Greetings Woodsman, I have looked at a couple of camping and outdoor sites they do have burners for cooking and lighting, but i have not seen any bunsen type burners,i have seen several free standing with a connection for a pipe from a larger bottle as Villiers says, i may finish up going down this route.

Hi Chiefy,
Plenty on Amazon or you could try here;

Alternatively, have a look in a fancy cookware shop. You can get re-fillable burners for use with vacuum coffee makers.

Re: Bunsen Burner
Hi Woodsman, I have just found a camping gas lantern in a drawer in my workshop, it must be 25 years old it is a EPI gas these are no longer available,it is on a butane/propane mix 250 ml canister i believe that Coleman canisters are the same screw fixing,i shall try to remove the mantle and glass bowl to see if this will do the trick, never chuck anything away that may be useful!!!,i feel like it may be my birthday. Chiefy.

Re: Bunsen Burner
Hi Chiefy,
You have just reminded me that, as well as a lantern, there may be a single burner Campinggaz stove lurking in a dusty corner of my shop. Will have a search around today.

Re: Bunsen Burner
Hi Chiefy,
Could you make this do the job?
It's a Camping Gaz Bluet S 200 which uses a non-refillable pierceable canister which seem to be still available.
Here's a youbend video of how to change the canister.
