Lister D Internal Governor Springs
Good day,
I was wondering if you can tell the difference between a 700 rpm spring and a 1,000 ? Is it a different number of coils or different spring tension ? I was hoping it was as simple as counting the coils. Thanks Mike

Hi Mike
I/m sure they are different springs if you look on stationary engine parts they list both 700 & 1000 RPM separately Good luck with it

No, not without measuring the tension of the spring with a gauge.
