Engine Information
Hi, I have just bought a stationary engine and would like some information on it please, on the engine plate it says ASSOCIATED MF'RS Co. LONDON Ltd.
46/48 WHARFDALE RD.
KINGS CROSS
LONDON, N1.
TYPE 4.5 No. 44461
any information would be helpful.

Well its an Amanco, but a picture will help us all to help you, as would the horsepower and a serial number.

I haven't got the engine yet but I will send you a picture when I get it, the horsepower is 4.5 and the serial number is 44461.

Could somebody tell me how to start and stop my 4.5HP Bradford Amanco engine, I am unfamiliar with this type of engine, also could somebody date the engine for me.

A lot of useful Amanco info here...dating tips (although on one forum the advice from members to another trying to 'date' his Amanco was to not be shy and just ask it out...oh dear lord... )

A couple of very good links but unfortunately they are for the American Amanco engines and not the Bradford Amanco....
Information on the Bradford Amanco is thin on the ground but I know someone has it, just can't remember who!!!
