Hi guys, My names Sam and I'm currently restoring a Villiers Mk12 and a Mk10 and I was hoping someone might know the paint codes for the cowls and blocks?
Thanks, Sam

Hi Sam,

Welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of information here.
These Villiers motors were mounted on several machines and can have different colors.

In case the original paint is intact you can take a part of the body and bring it to a car parts shop.
Mostly they can scan the color and make a spraycan.
You need a part of the body which was not too much exposed to the sun.
(Inside of the engine cover for example.)

The remainings of the color of my Villiers Mk15 engine were close to RAL 6001. (green)

Hope this will help.

Hi Sam and welcome.
As Steef says, they came in loads of colours.
My local auto paint shop charged me £12 for a 400 ml spray can which was plenty.
