Re: Help information on my Blake pump
Hi Stu,
It is a cracking pump and bought as is, except for renewing the trolly, cleaning up brass work and making up pipework, all I have done with paintwork is to touch up here and there, someone must have restored it at some stage as its painted mid brunswick green same as lister d, I bought some tractol and it's a really good colour match and looks good only by brushing.I have not found much on pump just that it is a double action piston pump prob made in the 30s, I have emailed pictures to some suppliers
but they have not bothered to reply, so I'm really still in the dark, if you search for blake pumps all you get info on are the hydram
pumps he developed. Hoping someone at Fairford steam rally next week will help me out.
