Lister D trolley remake
Thought I would have a go at replacing the trolley on my Lister D this weekend
a few mistakes made but none that will notice to much, next will be the Blake pump.
Before
Now
Now all I have to do is get D on it without damaging trolley, another day when properly dry.

A really good job there - the 'D' will look great on it. Good luck in transfering the 'D' to its new home!

Nicely finished chamfers - a pro job - what wood did you use? - it looks solid/ tight grained - oak or more exotic?.

Re: Lister D trolley remake
Hi Hamish,
It was Red wood from B&Q stained with oak and then yacht varnished, not the hardest of timber but does the job I think.
I used the plates from wickes tack welded to coach bolts to strengthen the bolt holes.
Thanks all for comments makes it all worthwhile when fellow engine enthusiasts like what you have done.

Great work. That looks superb. I face a similar job myself. I doubt I could do such a good job as you though.
