Petter a1 indentifacation as name plate missing

Hi just thought I would create a second topic the petter has no name plate does anybody know if the serial number is stamped anywhere else, also what model is as the magneto is on the starting handle side inline with the cam I think, I will put a picture on later,john

If the mag is sticking out of the front and it has a removeable sump then it is an A, however I don't know anywhere else that the serial number will be stamped.

As per my post on one of your other threads, Its a Petter A or AS. Should be fitted with a Burgess oil bath air cleaner (the support bracket for it is still on the engine).

Yes its on ebay, I have so many projects including a Nissan laurel and fiat x1/9 and two more engines to restore and a generator project and a house move to do , so I am moving it on, and hoping someone can put some love and care into it, I am just haven't the time
