new lister d

i have just purchased a lister d which i intend to restore it has had some work done prior to purchase however i am confused the exhaust is on the left as you look at it and the carb on the right is this correct or is it the wrong way round ???

hi looks like it may be right as just googled pics and some have exhaust on same side will try to upload pics soon

It will be a reverse rotation D Type, unless it has a vapouriser fitted between the exhaust, carb and head when it may be a petrol paraffin engine.
