just won this off ebay

hi all,
i just won this old compressor off of ebay for the grand sum of £2.70!!. i have plans to run to it off of the lister d with no tank ( due to safety test ect).
i have no clue what make it is though, anyone have any ideas??

no idea what make it is I'm afraid but congrats on a good fleabay win! - I'm looking at the same kind of set up - but with a tank so I can run power tools.....

thanks, i'm going to collect tomorrow morning, most times i've gone to collect something i've handed over at least £50, i'll shall feel strange giving him only £2.70!  using a tank does open up a whole new world with compressors, i have plans to rally it though, i think you need a different insurance, safety tests ect ect .

has any one got any ideas on what i can use it for at a rally? i'm thinking blowing bubbles, making a ball levitate in a tube or similar.

well i've go it, its the twin cylinder type and is in very good condition, no knocks or play. the seller said he brought it coupled to a single phase motor, he only wanted the motor so he sold the compressor.
what looks like red oxide primer coming through on the pulley is in fact faded lining. this leads me believe it was used with a stationary engine at some point if some one went to the effort of painting it brunswick green and lining it.
