Permanent Magnet Alternator/generator Empty Permanent Magnet Alternator/generator

Any one out there know where I can buy a genuine permanent magnet generator rated at about three to six KW 230/240 v ac at fifty hz. I emailed George at utterpower[who has what I want but at 60hz] but he said he had no connections to acquire one although he has them on back order for the American market . I realise most of them are made in China , but I am some what reticent to part with a decent wedge to what may possibly be a company that may make the transaction prolonged or result in an unsatisfactory outcome, any information very much appreciated, yours in anticipation Michael, Nottingham.

Surely difference between 50hz and 60hz is just engine rpm which you can fix by adjusting the governer or drive belts?

The 300 or 600 rpm difference depending on whether it is 2 or 4 pole makes a big difference to the output voltage and because it is a permag generator you can't adjust the field to lift the voltage.

You'd need a huge permanent magnet to generate 3KW plus. Impossibly large I'd suggest.

That's why alternators and dynamos use electro-magnets for the field coils.

And, as old goat says, you wouldn't be able to adjust the field magnetic flux to control output.
