Godwin water pump

Hi All,
This is my latest project :-







It is a Godwin A1E water pump. I know nothing about this pump,does anyone know if there is a manual for this pump and if so where I can get one from?
One ( the left) ,the input( photo 3), of the cylinders( not sure what the correct name for it is!) has been replaced with a welded pipe set up - does anyone know where I can get an original replacement from? Also can anyone let me know which way the pulley wheel is supposed to rotate - clockwise( looking straight at it as photo 2)?
And finally how can I get a date for it?( It does have a number!)
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.Thanks.

i also have a1e but i dont even have the diy accumilature ,its to take the spike load out the plumbing every time the pump pushes the water out
i also have a shout out for a second accumilature
maybe if we both look out for a complete nackered doner with the 2 on it we could split the cost of unit and then resell the remains on and split that or the likes just an idea, if you like let me know

Ah - I wondered what it did!Your idea sounds a great one,and what with the rally season and auto jumbles about to start we might just be lucky!
Funnily enough I will be in Cheshire ( Stockport area) in the next month or so, so if we have a donor by then we could perhaps meet up.Kev.

Hi Kev,
My delivery accumilator is ok, it is the input/suction one that I need to replace.Are they interchangeable because on my pump it does'nt look as if they are?Which one are you after?

One of the ones on my one I had was broken off around the flange, i just shaped a nice thick steel plate and put a 3/4 BSP thread through it

yes kev it has the 2..
make me a sensible offer on it
im selling 4 pumps and two 3hp open crank engines,,
or i will consider swapping an engine for a 1 1/2hp open crank..
the engines will be posted in the for sale section tomorrow (friday4th April)
