Petrol tank leaks.
Hi All,
I have a Lister D petrol tank that has 1 or 2 pin hole leaks in it, I was going to try and repair it using either JB Weld or Plastic padding leak fix. Has anyone tried either of these products to repair petrol leaks and if so what were the results? Is there a better product I should be using? Thanks.
Kev.

Hello Kev - I've used Granville Petro Patch Putty after seeing my company use it on commercial projects - its is a hand kneadable, non-rusting, steel reinforced epoxy putty that mixes to provide permanent repair to items made of ferrous metals and aluminium which can be overpainted if required. I've had good results(zero issues) on Land rover Series 1 petrol tanks and the like that get a fair amount of abuse in off road trials after using it.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the offer but I have now got and used Petro Patch putty - this is easy to use,as long as you dont mix too much up at one go, and so far its done the job very well. Thanks again for your interest.
