barn find threshing machine

Hi all,
Not too sure wether this should be here as i you probably have been driven by a traction engine although a large stationary engine could have driven it.

anyway, one of my friends as some horses and where he keeps them there is lots of old barns literally full of vintage stuff. old cars cast iron wheels, driven equipment old horse tack and so on it wouldn't surprise if there were stationary engines there (obviously i didn't take any thing as its not mine to do so   ). In one of the barns lies this vintage threshing machine. It is actually in really good condition. with only surface rust and slightly rotten wood. I'm very concerned about it though as the land that it on is for sale and to see it get scrapped would be heart breaking.

If the land is for sale and the barns are going to be scrapped get in there and salvage it all - finding barns like that are rare these days - if you have an opportunity to get in there do it! - and if you need a hand I am sure quite a few of us would be more than happy to help with clearing!

yeah it is way too good to let go, how do i go about contacting people about it?


i'll defiantly need help with it all, not much space of a threshing machine in my shed!   
i do know some one with a collection of steam engines that could help... I just thought, we're saying all this but the seller might be taking it with him   doubt it though

I'd delete that link to where the land is pretty quickly if I were you Callum.  It could attract thieves to the site.   

If you are concerned about the stuff there going for scrap why not have a word with the landowner and see if you and your traction engine owning friend can buy and move it?  He may already have this sorted though.
