Hi all.
Does anyone know of a cheap place that does metal spraying?
If all goes to plan there will be another engine in my Shed next Saturday, its been restored but has run the main bearings and will need the crank skimming then building up, or so i'm led to believe! but until i get it home and look inside i cannot be sure!
i won't say what the engine is just yet but i may be asking around for another crankshaft instead. watch this space !

It's capable of running but has an issue with binding up in the bore and is now stripped for the liner to be skimmed and rings to be gapped !

Hi all, after another evening working on the Petter , i had got to the point where i going to refit the piston rings onto the piston and all was going well until i got to the last one and you guessed it ,crack ! i broke the damn thing, So my question to you is; does anybody have a spare 3-3/4'' ring to fit a 3hp M ? if not where is the best place to obtain one please?
Off to a dark corner to sulk now ! ,Karl. lol! lol!
