Bridport Bandits new shafty D type

bought this old girl at the weekend, does run very well believe it or not, but needs a good strip down and clean up, quite an early one too, 1931

That will come up a treat matt .

I think i can name it the thatchers engine !

I know that engine she was in yesterdays farmingn action with a h1 on a trolley,
And one of the store holder wone it.
It Was very Cheap.

Knowing Matt he will strip it all down and do a full repaint with nice bright red nuts and bolts, pick the lettering out with gold leaf and make it shine like a new pin....

Haha, you know me too well, she does have a bit of a knock so needs to come apart, winter job, may have a Hartop M coming my way after the steam fair too, this D was the dogs b*llocks for about an hour until I discovered the Hartop at the weekend lol

Yes, they are a bit of a rare engine that I'm not sure I have seen, still think I would like one, and if it was on a Hartop sawbench then all the better.

Nah i think the poor old camera had thatchers gold ingress inside the lens over the weekend, but could have been rain I suppose, and made it go blurry! but more likely thatchers lol
