I went to a rally this weekend were a friend of mine was selling of a number of engines, one he had was called a mac diesel, i think thats correct anyway it said on the plate from Australia, i was wondering if you can shed and info on the company, he was only selling it for £275 which i thought was quite cheap

It is most likely a McDonald 'Imperial Super Deisel'. There are various sizes and styles and they run very well... for a deisel.

it were twin flywheel with round hopper on the front, so what i was wondering is, is this mc donald engine to the australians what the lister is to the british , kinda thing
