Well done Lewis another engine/pump to be proud of, great job. It must be getting difficult for you to decide what to take to a rally these days as you've now got a such good collection.

Its a nice pumpset. better state than when i got it. the pump had huge crank through the head but that has been repaired with jb weld and fibreglass. all we need now is a willing buyer.

It was bought to be sold. I buy the smaller ones to sell to on a buy an open crank its the only way i fund engines.

Lewis..
that's the way i started a long time back
i started with one LISTER D then went on from there..and the rest is history now...
i do like the Godwin pumps....must get round to finishing my rather large Godwin..then i will sell it as its going to be to much for my back..
its a pity as there are not a lot of them about..Ive only seen one in all the 14 or so years Ive been rallying...
will make a nice set up though when done....

keep up the great work mate...
regards..mike...

cheers mike.

I cant keep them all i have to many. So they have to go to make room for the rarer ones and the open cranks.

Newly restored Lister D and Godwin Pump Empty Godwin Pumps

Post by gordonjstewart Wed Sep 21 2011, 17:02

What a fantastic setup!
My father has a Lister CS and Godwin Pump. I'm trying to find out details for him - do you know where I can find details about the age of Godwin Pumps? He has one connected up to the engine and two other identical pumps all of a similar age (1950's).
Any help would be appreciated.
Gordon.
