looking to find out the width ( length of crank ) and the diameter of a flywheel . im looking to buy one but not sure if will fit down the back ... might have to have it turned around on trolley so flywheels sitting across the frame .

i thought ut would fit but might be a bit of a tight squeeze , so i thought if turned engine 90 deg's would be thinner ...

MATT..what you need is a ramp at the front door,in one end and out the other door..like i said before,get 2 bits of old carpet and run it on one then move the other bit and run it on that bit and so on till it out of the house,that way you wont get any oil or mud on the carpet in the house,and the wife will be well happy...

I've been out in the shed and got the LISTER A/B book,the info on dimensions work out at about about 32" from end to end...
will take a picture and email it to you so you can See for yourself..
its a bit strange the way they work it,if its a wide flywheel one then it going to be 1 1/2" wider..

and it should fit through the door fine but going to be a heavy lump to lift up and over the front and rear door frame lol!

make a ramp for it..
have it so that it goes over the top of the frame,that way there wont be any damage to the step mate..

might even fir around the side as the rather over engineered trolley i made for the wolselly and h2 fitted around the side , with bags to spare

When I made the trolley for the Lister G1 I had to stop and check there was room to get it out the gate lol! lol! lol! It has about an inch n a half to spare, phew close call.
