Right......Head nuts are here, studs are not...

so had a look at the Dynamo, sod law it spins the wrong direction, but its the only engine that will run the Dynamo and look right with the engine and dynamo in a line, so will look at getting a bigger pulley to fit on the engine and a smaller one to fit on the dynamo and go from there, Im looking at binning the tin box ontop of the dynamo and fitting the working stuff to a Board that I can fix the controls and lights to.

I did also look at fitting my Domestic pump to the base, but the bolt holes are to far off and the pulley arrangement needed would be a pain, wouldn't be so bad if it was a slightly smaller or a small goodwin pump

Hello

Had this comment posted on youtube

"A very fine job on a very fine machine, Have you ever thaught of having the exhaust exiting into the water tank as if in a boat ?, It may have the efect of bringing the revs down."

What do you guys think? Im not sure how it would be implemented with out getting a big Gulp of water into the exhaust.

I can see how it would effect the amount of back pressure, and may improve the running of the thing, im just not sure on stopping water running in to the cylinder would make a interesting build though.

Cheers Steve

When I first started messing with engines I had a lister L running in the corner of the work shop , instead of cooling tank I plumb up a radiator worked great .
I stuck the exhaust out through the side of the shed and put the silencer into a 45 gallen drum full of water really worked great ,just sounded like a bubbling water fall Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile
