Ruston literature.
Does anyone know of any books about Ruston & Hornsby (PT).
When I was restoring my Ferguson there was so many different guides and books on the history and development of the TE20 that it gave it more of a back story. Rather than just another old machine.
Cheers,
Mike.

Re: Ruston literature.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Those little handbooks are really useful by allowing one to look inside an engine without actually stripping it down.
I was just wondering if there was anything written on the history and development of Ruston and Hornsby.
Cheers,
Mike.

Re: Ruston literature.
I have a few manuals but, as you say, info on history see a bit thin on the ground. Loco development seems to be covered better.mikep wrote:

Re: Ruston literature.
Thanks BlueCat,
I just ordered it. Looks to be a good read (It better be at that price)!

Re: Ruston literature.
Indeed, they never seem to be cheap, but I supose they were a limited print run back in the day.
