Petter a11 cylinder head
Could someone help me please? I have a petter a11 and had to remove the valves because of low compression. They came out easy enough but I can’t get them back in. Do I need specialist tools?

I've had plenty of success with these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176297958035
Other similar compressors are available. What diameter are the springs?

You're welcome.
If you give us the diameter of the springs I can check that they will fit in B&S tool

Help, where can I get replacement parts?
I’ve been working on our Petter a11 and found that we need a replacement piston ring. Does anyone know where I can find one? Many thanks to you all, Martin and Paul.

Re: Petter a11 cylinder head
Size (diam + thickness + width ) would be useful
Maybe try: Stationary Engine Parts, FW Thornton, Cox & Turner ?

Hello thanks for your help I will try to get the information for the piston rings. Also will have a look at where you recommend. Thanks again, Martin and Paul.

Latest condition
I’ve managed to replace a broken piston ring. We’re not sure if we need a copper or paper gasket for the cylinder to crankcase, any one have any suggestions?

I would make a gasket from a cereal packet for the cylinder to crankcase joint.

Thanks so much for your help. I now have a problem with noisy head tapping, is this an oil or an adjustment problem? If anyone can help I would really appreciate it? Thanks, Martin and Paul.

Re: Petter a11 cylinder head
I will try your advice as soon as I can replace my feeler gauge it’s so worn I can’t read the measurements on it. Thanks for your advice.
