petter AA1 injector pump removal

I am finding intermittent fuel spray from the injector on petter aa1 diesel.

I am trying to remove the pump from the crank case but it will only come out 1/8".

Can anyone tell me how to get it out?

I have not been able to log in for a while (must 'ave forgot me password; got a new one now).

I'm not too sure what you mean by intermittent spray; it should spray once at round about 12degr. BTDC on the compression stroke. That is once every crankshaft rev on a 2 stroke, or once every 2 revs on a 4 stroke.

Looking at pictures it appears that it may be the control rack that is stopping you from lifting the pump out. In the first image, it says refitting the fuel pump is the reverse removing it; therefore I would expect the preceding page may well tell how to remove it.
