New Member from Shetland
Hi Everybody
I’m Mark, I have lived in Shetland all my life. I’ve been collecting and restoring engines for over 30 years now. My current project is a 5hp Petter Victory which has been on the island from new in 1920.
I also have a Norman T300 genset which is in need of a carb and starting handle.
I have more Listers than anything else (from a D type to an FR6 generator) but my collection is quite eclectic.

Hi Mark and a warm welcome to the forum.
I also have a 5hp Petter Victory - engine number 45028 - awaiting some TLC. Just need to finish off some other projects, including a Norman T300, before I can start.
Please post a few pics of your collection in Pride And Joy and start a new thread in New Projects/Restorations when you start on the Victory. I have a few questions for you racked up already!

Thanks, I’ll get some photos put up. It’s all stripped down now and I’m trying to persuade the piston to move after being seized for over 50 years. I’m it’s third owner and it has travelled less than 30 miles in 102 years!

I rescued my T300 from a trailer en-route to the scrap man. Sadly the carb is smashed and the starting handle is missing. It turns over freely with compression but needs the magneto serviced. With a good clean up it will be a nice engine.
